Ollying To Altruism
In this project we have been researching and learning the history of generosity and altruism. We have been learning how it affects us and our community. We made our own philosophies and turned it into a project of our own. We documented throughout the project by taking photos and turning that into a photojournalistic essay.

My Experience At The Ronald McDonald House
Me and eleven of my classmates had the opportunity to go to the Ronald McDonald House. What we did was make cookies and brownies for the parents and children at the Ronald McDonald House. One of the teachers stayed with us and separated us into three groups. We washed our hands, of course, then we started baking. In my group we made cookies. As a group we all helped and put the eggs, butter and cookie mix in a bowl, no one was left out. I had a lot of fun making the cookies. I liked seeing everyone's cookies and brownies at the end, it was fulfilling. My favorite part of the day was watching the parents and children eating the desserts and seeing the smile on their face. Baking at the Ronald McDonald House was a wonderful experience for me.
February 13th. Learning How To Use Photoshop
We had went to the bay to pick up trash and take photos. I did not take pictures because i didn't have a camera and didn't ask anyone to use their camera. At the bay when i was picking up trash i was really surprised of how much trash there was and how there was trash around the trash can. I couldn't believe how lazy people were.

My photojournalistic essay
My photojournalism was on my 6 year old neighbor, Austen. I wanted to follow him around and take pictures because he's very photogenic and fun to be around. I took pictures of what he liked to do and his dog name lulu. Austen enjoys playing games and learning how to read with his mom.
